Description

The Heart Pulse Rate Sensor is a biometric sensor module used to detect heartbeats and measure pulse rate (BPM - Beats Per Minute). It works using photoplethysmography (PPG), where an LED emits light into the skin and a photodetector measures changes in blood flow caused by heartbeats.
