Description
Solder wick is composed of fine copper threads braided together. Flux is added to help molten solder flow from unwanted areas (such as PCB pads or jumpers) into the wick. It is commonly used for removing excess solder during PCB repair, rework, and component replacement. Solder wick is also known as desolder braid.
